    Parkinsonians gait

    Parkinsonians gait

We investigate Parkinsonian gait to understand how neurological impairments alter the dynamics of human locomotion. Our research quantitatively extracts critical features such as reduced stride length, altered cadence, movement asymmetry, and freezing of gait. Moving beyond subjective clinical observations, we develop objective, data-driven metrics to accurately detect subtle motor deficits and monitor disease progression. By integrating advanced motion capture with dynamical analysis frameworks, we decode how neurological constraints disrupt motor control mechanisms, ultimately contributing to early detection tools and smarter rehabilitation strategies.
